Wheaton Park District's New Podcast 'A Talk In The Park'
'A Talk in the Park' shares updates on local park district events, conservation efforts, and more in Wheaton.

WHEATON, IL — The Wheaton Park District manages a wide swath of nature, including 54 parks that stretch across over 800 acres. This means there's no shortage of topics for "A Talk in the Park," a new podcast launched by the Wheaton Park District.
"A Talk in the Park" is co-hosted by the Wheaton Park District's Marketing and Special Events Coordinator Amy Seklecki and longtime park district employee Mark Dolphin. The show features local experts sharing info about upcoming projects, environmental initiatives and other park district happenings.
The first episode of "A Talk in the Park" dropped in early July and features an interview with Terra Johnson, who works as program manager for the Lincoln Marsh. Johnson discussed the significance of playing in nature and talked about how the Wheaton Park District and Lincoln Marsh are working to create diverse outdoor play options for kids.
