Wheaton Police Blotter Oct. 8 Through Oct. 14
Police responded to reports of stolen wallets, damaged cars, and identity theft.

WHEATON, IL — The following items were taken from the Wheaton Police Departments weekly crime reports.
Criminal Damage to Vehicle
On Oct. 9, someone keyed a car that was parked at Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College. The incident took place sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

Another car was damaged on Oct. 9 in the 200 block of W. Wesley Street. The victim told police their car was parked in the municipal garage between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. when someone damaged the rear window.
Retail Theft

Police say two women stole several articles of clothing from an Express store at 161 Town Square on Oct. 10.
Identity Theft
A resident who lives in the 1000 block of N. Washington told police that someone used their information to withdraw money from their savings account and open another savings and checking account in their name.
Theft
On the evening of Oct. 11, someone pried open a locker at Wheaton Sports Center and stole a wallet and a watch. Police say other nearby lockers had pry marks that suggested the suspect(s) also tried to gain access to them.
According to police, someone stole cash from a wallet that was left in a cart at Target on Oct. 14. The incident took place at approximately 8:30 a.m. at the store located at 601 S. County Farm Rd.
Also on Oct. 14, a bike was stolen from outside of the Wheaton train depot t 402 Front St. The victim told police the black Schwinn bike, which had a motor and gas tank, was locked and secured to a bike rack when it was stolen sometime between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
