Police were called to the 1100 block of Bridge St. on Nov. 4 at 8:27 p.m. for a report of an unknown person or persons who started a fire near the center of the bridge.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
Some time between 8 p.m. on Nov. 1 and 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 2, $10 was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 700 block of East Indiana St.

Criminal Defacement
Graffiti was located on one of the pedestrian bridge supports at 1855 Manchester Road on the north side of the tracks. The reports was made on Nov. 3.
Retail Theft
A 20-year-old man attempted to walk out of Mariano’s, 625 S. Main St., at 2:36 p.m. on Nov. 7 with a bottle of liquor tucked under his sweatshirt.
Theft
A person called police to report her father had been the victim of a scam that resulted in him losing over $58,000. He received a phone call advising he won the lottery but had to pay the taxes up front.
Theft
An argument over money at 12:19 a.m. on Nov. 7 in the 1200 block of East Roosevelt Road resulted in one person taking the other person’s car keys. That person called police to report the other party had not yet returned the keys.
