Wheaton Police Seek Video Of Front Street Burglary
The burglars wore ski masks and fled in a "white, high-end vehicle," police say.

WHEATON, IL — Police in Wheaton are asking members of the public for help finding video footage of a car that was used in a recent burglary. The burglary in question took place on June 10 in the 400 block of West Front Street, according to a post shared by the City of Wheaton.
According to police, the burglary took place between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. The suspects, described as a white male and white female, wore ski masks and attempted to enter a residence while the homeowners were away, but were interrupted by a neighbor.
The male suspect told the neighbor he was armed, but did not display a weapon, police say.

Police initially said that the suspects fled in a white Mercedes Benz with a possible partial Illinois plate 6529. They are asking for residents or businesses who have footage of what they are now describing as a "white high-end vehicle with tinted windows" to contact the Wheaton Police Department at 630-260-2060.
