Wheaton Public Library Holds Genre Art Contest
Sketches and Mock-Ups Accepted September 1 to November 1

The Wheaton Public Library invites talented artists to create literature-themed artworks that will be hung in the library's fiction collection.
The contest has four entry categories based on specific book genres: Mystery, Science Fiction, Graphic Novels, or Classic Literature. Artists will capture the spirit of the genre using any visual style they wish. Final artworks must fit on a 30" W X 40" H canvas. Winners will receive a final canvas and a prize package from Dick Blick Art Materials.

Submit a scan of your work to courtney@wheatonlibrary.org or bring your entry to the library's Circulation Desk. A panel of judges from the Wheaton Public Library and The DuPage Art League will announce contest winners on November 18.
Final pieces must be submitted by February 25, 2019. The artist’s name and contact information will be displayed along with the artwork.
