Wheaton Reads 2015 Features Wheaton World Tour, Author Visit, and More
Wheaton Public Library's third annual Wheaton Reads will feature Wheaton World Tour, author visit and book signing, and several programs.
Wheaton Public Library is proud to announce its third annual community-wide reading event, Wheaton Reads, and featured book, The Book of Unknown Americans by Cristina Henríquez. Throughout the month of September, WPL is celebrating diversity and multiculturalism with programs for all ages, a Wheaton World Tour festival, and a special visit from the featured book’s author, Cristina Henríquez. The Wheaton World Tour will be held Sunday, September 13 from 1-4pm outside on the library’s West Plaza and in Adams Park. This free international festival will celebrate the diversity and cultures of the City of Wheaton with an afternoon of music, crafts, storytelling, dance and more for all ages. Sponsored by City of Wheaton Community Relations Commission, Wheaton Public Library, and Wheaton Park District.
