WARRENVILLE, IL — An employee of Wheaton-Warrenville South High School has been charged with three counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a minor, according to DuPage County Jail records. Cesar Navarro, 63, was accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl between June 1 and Sept. 25, Daily Herald reported Tuesday.

Wheaton-Warrenville South Principal Scott McDermott emailed parents, staff and students Tuesday to inform them that an employee had been arrested outside the high school "for assaulting a minor." McDermott's letter, which was forwarded to Patch, did not name the employee, but said they had been placed on leave pending the results of an investigation.
