Wheaton Warrenville South High School Show Choirs Present 2015 Cabaret Show

Tickets are available for the annual Cabaret performance presented by the show choirs of Wheaton Warrenville South High School. Headlined by The Classics, Esprit, and the Show Band, Cabaret 2015 features high-quality vocal, music, and dance performances. This year’s Cabaret show will showcase Broadway tunes as well as the 2015 competition shows for both The Classics and Esprit. Cabaret also includes a silent auction and a raffle.

This year, both Esprit and The Classics traveled to show choir competitions in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Mississippi. Comprised of 36 singer/dancers, Esprit was named grand champions in the unisex division at three of those competitions. With 44 singer/dancers, The Classics earned grand champion honors for the advanced, mixed division at two competitions. The Classics also was recognized with awards for best vocals, best choreography, best costumes, and best diction this season. Senior Ryan Kirby was named best soloist at three competitions and junior Drew Curry earned best soloist at one competition. in a separate solo competition at the Mt. Zion Midwest Invitational, sophomore Dana Roesner was recognized as the best female soloist. Comprised of 12 instrumentalists, the Show Band was named best band at three competitions this year.

Both groups and the band are under the direction of Kelsey Cunningham and the shows are choreographed by Dwight Jordan.

Cabaret 2015 Show Dates:    Friday, April 10 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, April 11 at 2:30 pm and 7 pm
