Woman Accused Of Battery Of Children At Day Care In Naperville: Report

Rabia Shaukat, 28, is accused of committing battery on 2- and 3-year-olds when she worked at KinderCare, Daily Herald reports.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A Naperville woman has been accused of battery against 2- and 3-year-old children when she was formerly employed at KinderCare on Diehl Road, the Daily Herald reports.

Three counts of battery were filed against Rabia Shaukat, 28, of the 1500 block of Raymond Drive. Shaukat is accused of slapping a 3-year-old's arm, hitting and grabbing a 2-year-old and forcing another 2-year-old to the floor. The incidents are alleged to have occurred in late June at KinderCare.

According to Daily Herald, Shaukat was initially put on leave and then fired after the battery allegations emerged.
