Women Charged In Prostitution Investigation At Warrenville Spa

WARRENVILLE, IL — Police arrested two women in connection with an ongoing prostitution investigation at a massage spa in Warrenville. Pingmei Xia, 41, and Taomei Lin, 44, both of Chicago were taken into custody after police allegedly found evidence of prostitution and sleeping quarters, along with other violations inside the business at 3S021 Rte. 59.

Xia was charged with misdemeanor prostitution and practicing massage therapy without a license. Lin, who owns the business, was charged with violating local business ordinances. The violations include deceptive advertising, failure to prominently display a price list, and permitting unlicensed massage therapy on the premises, according to Daily Herald.

Warrenville will schedule a city council hearing to decide whether or not to revoke the business licenses for Lin's Massage.
