• Outgoing Wheeling Park District leader honored (dailyherald.com) — Wheeling residents are seeing a major leadership change as longtime Park District Executive Director Jan Buchs is honored ahead of her retirement this Friday, after more than three decades of service. Under her tenure, the district completed major upgrades to the Community Recreation Center, Chevy Chase Country Club, Heritage Park, and planned a new $30 million water park on Community Boulevard.
