• Wilmette Parish, Fire Department Set Emergency Blood Drive Amid Red Cross Shortage (patch.com) — Wilmette residents are invited to an emergency blood drive this Sunday at Saints Joseph and Francis Xavier Parish's St. Francis Xavier Campus, co-hosted with the Wilmette Fire Department in response to a national blood shortage. While appointments are full, up to 30 walk-in donors can still participate, enjoy local incentives, and honor the memory of parish alum Kevin Joseph Smith Burke.
