Popular Chicago band leader Steve Cooper is the host for a one-hour program of rare films and videotapes of the most popular performers and songs from the days of the Big Bands and early television. In addition to showing videos, Steve will talk about the famous bands and the celebrities he has performed with including Bob Crosby, Sammy Kaye, Lawrence Welk, Mary Tyler Moore, and Liza Minelli. He has also performed on the Oprah Winfrey Show. A question-and-answer session will follow the videos.
