Body Found on Train Tracks in Kenilworth
Reports indicate woman was likely hit by Metra train.
A woman’s body was found on a Metra platform in Kenilworth Friday evening. It appears she was hit by a train, according to WGN-TV.
A passer-by called police after seeing the body around 7 p.m. Both northbound and southbound Metra Union Pacific trains were halted for approximately 90 minutes. They began operating later that night on delayed schedules.
The woman found on the tracks has not been identified.
