Dripping with Paint Part 2

Are you brave enough to Drip with Paint? Send us photos of your project!

Well folks, Dripping with Paint was a BLAST and the process once again reminded me why creative learning is so important in early childhood. The children were free to explore, observe and dialoge about the process and we were able to see connections being made, confidence building and language developing! They asked each other open ended questions that began with "how", "why", and "what" as they dropped the paint over the ledge of the canvas.

As we listened to a few 4-year-olds dialogue about how the paint was dripping, we were able to introduce words like gravity, consistency and force. As a group of toddlers sat nearby with their Momma's we heard words like wow, awesome, blue, red, fast and slow. It was pure joy!
