Gigi's Cupcakes Will Open in Wilmette
Company's first Chicagoland location will be at Westlake Plaza.
Finding a fresh cupcake any day of the week in Wilmette will soon be reality.
Gigi’s Cupcakes, a gourmet boutique bakery, will open its first Chicago-area location at Westlake Plaza in Wilmette after village trustees approved a request for a special use permit to operate the business at 3217 Lake Ave., according to the Wilmette Beacon.
The space was most recently occupied by a take-out sushi restaurant.
