Jimmy John's Employee Faked Armed Robbery: Cops
Police say the woman recruited her boyfriend to make her theft look like an armed robbery.

WILMETTE, IL - An employee at the Jimmy John’s in Wilmette stole from the business and recruited her boyfriend to help stage the theft as an armed robbery.
That’s what police said in charging [Name Withheld], 24, and Michael Calhoun, 26, both of the Northwest Side of Chicago with felony theft last week, according to the Wilmette Life.

[Name Withheld], an employee of the sandwich chain shop at 3520 Lake Ave., stole nearly $3,000 from the store and had Calhoun help stage it as an armed robbery on the night of Aug. 7, a police report shows. That night, a night manager called 911 to report the store had been robbed just before 10 p.m.
The same Jimmy John’s was the victim of an actual armed robbery in 2013.
