After: Breakup Recovery

After is a quiet place to heal after a breakup: not just a journal, but a real toolkit for the parts of a breakup that are hardest to face alone. THE DRAFT INTERCEPTOR Late at night, the urge to text your ex can feel overwhelming. Write out exactly what you want to say, or record a voice memo, without it going anywhere yet. When you're done, After shows you one of your own receipts (a real reason it ended) and asks whether anything has actually changed, then what you're hoping happens after they read it. Only then do you choose: save it, delete it, or send it anyway (and your anchor gets a quiet heads-up). Didn't send it? Save one line about why straight to your receipts. YOUR ANCHOR Someone who gets a private, quiet text if you break no-contact, so you're never doing this completely alone, even at 3am. Premium unlocks up to three anchors, each messaged individually; they never see each other, your journal, or your drafts. NO-CONTACT, TRACKED HONESTLY Log your streak day by day alongside gentle daily check-ins. Broke contact? No shame: After resets the count, calls it "day 1. again.", and guides you toward writing, rereading your receipts, or reaching your anchor instead of spiraling. Add the dates that hit different, and After checks in a little gentler that day. MUSIC & PHOTO DETOX Your ex is probably still all over your Spotify and your camera roll. Quarantine songs that hit too hard, move them to "healing" when you're ready to test them, and mark them cleared once they stop stinging. Sort your camera roll one photo at a time or in a grid: keep it, archive it privately in After (off your camera roll, not gone forever), or delete it for good. It's built for the actual digital residue a relationship leaves behind. THE NIGHT WALL Open After between midnight and 4am and you're met with a slow breathing exercise, an honest acknowledgment of how hard this hour is, and quick paths to write it out or reread your receipts. RECEIPTS & STANDARDS Write down the real reasons it ended so 2am doubt can't rewrite your history, and set your standards for what you will no longer accept. JOURNALING, YOUR WAY Free-write with a daily prompt, add voice memos, and rebuild your relationship with yourself in "I Am." Seal letters to your future self for 30, 60, or 90 days or a date you choose, or write one "for whenever you need it." LETTERS FROM A FRIEND Letters for the hardest moments, from someone who's been there, plus anonymous letters from others who've been through it. You can write one for someone else too! THINGS TO DO + LOOSE ENDS A daily dare, ideas for your time alone or with a friend, and a gentle checklist for the practical side of ending things. MILESTONES & FOR ME Hit streaks and milestones and treat yourself, from free to big rewards. In "For Me," build a goals list that's just about you; complete one and add a photo to a growing scrapbook of your own wins. AFTER PREMIUM Photo attachments and Dear Future Me letters, the full activities library, unlimited photo clean-out, mood trends and insights, AI song suggestions, and up to 3 anchors. Monthly or yearly with a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID and auto-renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Struggling right now? "Need to talk to someone right now?" on the home screen connects you with free, confidential support. Almost everything you write stays only on your device: we never see it, sell it, or share it. Two optional AI features (mood insights and song suggestions) send a narrow slice of numbers or song titles to generate a result and don't store it. We only keep feedback and anonymous letters you choose to send us. Terms of Use: https://after-server-production.up.railway.app/terms
