No Crimes Have Been Reported in Kenilworth This Year
A recent police report lists….nothing.

KENILWORTH, IL - Outside of a few neighborhoods in Evanston and Skokie, Chicago’s North Shore region is widely considered to be extremely safe. Police reports in Northbrook, Wilmette, Lake Bluff, Highland Park, etc. are often light and void of serious criminal activity.
But which community is the safest of the safe?
According to a police report sent on Friday, a good contender has emerged in Kenilworth.

Sure, the village that sits between Wilmette and Winnetka on Green Bay Road is extremely small. But something stuck out in the police blotter from the first week of 2016.
Nothing was listed.
“No criminal activity was reported for the week of (January 1-8),” was the entire text of an email circulated by Kenilworth police Friday.
Again, Kenilworth is small. But that doesn’t make this stat any less noteworthy.
