Northbrook Man Accused of Touching, Making Sexual Remarks Toward Cabbie: Cops

BATTERY
Gregory Pradun, 62, of Northbrook, was arrested and charged with battery touching and making sexual statements toward a Yellow Cab driver Saturday, Aug. 6.

RETAIL THEFT
Peter Baranovskis, 24, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with retail theft after being accused Aug. 4 of stealing items from CVS, 1515 Sheridan Road.

Employees called police at about 11:49 a.m., claiming Baranovskis took merchandise from the store and then fled on foot. He unsuccessfully tried to escape police, who found him a short distance from the store.
Baranovskis was apprehended, and stolen property was recovered.
