
The following actions were reported by the Wilmette Police Department:
IDENTITY THEFT
An unknown person applied for at least ten credit cards using a resident at 2817 Birchwood Ave.’s personal information between July 15 and July 25. The unknown person charged over $14,000 on the credit cards, police said.

IDENTITY THEFT
On 8:00 p.m. on July 20, a victim at 3501 Elmwood reported than an unknown person used his personal information to apply for a loan, police said.

THEFT
A victim who parked his car on the street in front of 420 Cedar Lane had an antenna stolen from his vehicle, police said. The theft occurred sometime between July 23 and July 27.
BICYCLE THEFT
On July 25 at 4:00 p.m., an 11-year-old Glenview resident left his orange Raleigh bicycle unlocked when he went to a Wilmette Park District camp at Centennial Park. When the boy returned at 6:00 p.m., the bicycle was gone. All campers at the camp the boy attends have the same bicycle.
SUSPENDED LICENSE
On July 26, Arnell Middlebrook, 43, was released on bond after an officer discovered that the registered owner of the car was suspended, police said. Middlebrook's Ford Explorer was towed from the 200 Block of Skokie Blvd.
BICYCLE THEFT
Between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on July 26, an unknown person stole a locked men’s bicycle valued at $100 from the Metra Lot at 722 Green Bay Road, police said.
STOLEN VEHICLE
On July 27 at 50 E. 50th St., Darryl Jones, 34, was found in possession of the 2014 Mercedes S550 stolen from Imperial Motors on June 13. Police found a loaded semi-automatic handgun in the center console of the vehicle, police said. Jones was charged with a felony charge of Aggravated UUw and Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
On July 27, a victim at 2115 Chestnut reported than an unknown person keyed his car while it was parked in the driveway of his house, police said.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Between 3:30 p.m. on July 28 and 10:19 a.m. on July 29, an unknown person damaged an east window near the school office at Romona School on 600 Romona Road. A similar incident has occurred in the past two weeks, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE
On July 28, Aaron Arivett, 20, was released on bond after officers discovered he was driving his car on Glenview and Skokie with a suspended license, police said.
DUI
Rashad Morris, 20, was released on bond after he drove under the influence at 1:19 a.m. on July 28, police said.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
CTA train personnel reported criminal damage at 349 Linden Ave at 1:54 p.m. on July 31. They found three train cards that were tagged in the Linden yard earlier that morning, police sad. The tags on the trains read the words: “nice”, “16”, “boys crew”, and “wild meros.”
THEFT
A victim reported theft at her store on 817 Ridge Rd. at 9:01 p.m. on July 31. Someone stole her 2013 MacBook Pro Laptop and Apple iPod from her store, police said.
BURGLARY
Between 10 p.m. on July 31 and 9:17 a.m. on Aug. 1, a burglary took place at 117 9th St., police said. An unknown person entered the victim’s unlocked residence and stole a backpack with his laptop inside.
THEFT
A theft occurred at the Starbucks on 739 Green Bay Rd. Aug. 1, police said. The victim reported that between 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. her purse was taken from Starbucks. The victim drove home to her residence and realized she left her purse at Starbucks. When she drove back, the purse was gone.
