Rifles Stolen From American Legion Post
Inventory check reveals nine have gone missing since 1999.
A total of nine rifles have been stolen from the American Legion Post at 1925 Wilmette Ave. in Wilmette over the last 16 years.
A police report indicates during a recent inventory check of all military firearms the post had acquired, a complainant realized nine were missing since the last check in 1999.
