Wilmette Firefighters Pull Injured Woman From Crash Monday
The 53-year-old driver was taken to an Evanston hospital, and her injuries weren't life-threatening.

WILMETTE, IL―A 53-year-old woman was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a Monday night crash that briefly trapped her in her vehicle, Wilmette Life reports.
The Wilmette Fire Department responded to an accident call at about 5:45 p.m. Monday, May 2, near Lake Avenue and 7th Street. A pickup truck had broadsided another vehicle, trapping the woman inside, the report stated.

It took firefighters about 10 minutes to use spreaders to pull the woman out of her vehicle. She then was taken to an Evanston hospital, according to the report.
