Wilmette Homes Targeted in Attempted Burglaries: Cops

Police got two calls in same vicinity within an hour on Friday.

Wilmette police responded to two calls of burglary to a residence during the same hour on Friday.

First, in the 600 block of Laramie a resident alerted police that two subjects had entered his residence some time between 3:10-3:30 p.m. Nothing was taken and officers were unable to locate the offenders.

Then shortly after 3:30 p.m., a woman residing in the 800 block of Lacrosse - some four blocks away - called people when she observed two subjects in her residence. The subjects left immediately and police were again unable to locate anyone.
