A Wilmette man left a successful career in high-tech marketing and sales to follow his passion and start a sailboat company.
Next Level Sailing Chicago, a sailboat racing company that will offer yacht races and charters starting in May, is owned by Paul Schulz of Wilmette and a St. Charles man who also left a steady job to follow his dreams.
Wilmette Life recently highlighted Schulz’ new endeavor.

“The idea is to form three groups on each boat, with each group performing a different task, working together to try to win the race,” he said. “One group will drive, one selects the direction of the race course and one is responsible for speed.”
