Wilmette Parks Enact 20 Percent Discount For Current U.S. Military
Discounts also available to families of military in Wilmette.

Active members of any branch of the United States Military and their families will now be able to take advantage of several Wilmette Park District services at a discounted rate of 20 percent.
The discounts apply to individuals and families who live in Wilmette or the boundaries of Wilmette School District 39 or Avoca School District 37 and include the daily fees at the Centennial pool complex, the beaches, ice rinks and the district’s tennis and golf clubs, according to the Wilmette Life.
Keith Holihan, a U.S. Navy commander and Wilmette resident, asked park officials about possible discounts two months ago. The district then followed up on the suggestion with several other districts nearby - many of which indicated they already had military discounts in place.
