SKOKIE, IL — The Wilmette woman who allegedly stabbed her mother repeatedly as she lay in bed was ordered to remain held without bail Thursday. Dinah Larson, 27, of the 1900 block of Highland Avenue, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery and aggravated domestic battery over an attack that took place on the morning of Jan. 18.
Her mother was found covered in blood and stabbed repeatedly inside her home, which she shared with her daughter. Larson was arrested after running from the home, police said. She was reportedly wearing bloody pajamas.
Judge Aleksandra Gillespie described her as "a danger to the community" because of the "particularly violent" nature of the crime, Pioneer Press reported.
