The Associate Board of NorthShore University HealthSystem Raises $65,000
Over 250 People Attended the Associate Board's 10th Annual Fundraising Event Including Victoria Freda and Jon and Kathryn Talty of Winnetka.

The Adler Planetarium served as the perfect backdrop for The Associate Board of NorthShore University HealthSystem’s (NorthShore) 10th Annual Benefit: “A Decade Under the Stars.” More than 250 members, friends and supporters of The Associate Board of NorthShore attended the fundraising event, which took place on Saturday evening, November 1.
The festivities began with a silent auction and raffle, which included signed sports memorabilia, gift certificates to some of Chicago’s favorite restaurants, and luxurious spa treatments. Guests enjoyed gourmet appetizers, creative cocktails, as well as a decadent dessert buffet. In addition to the fabulous fare, guests enjoyed an evening of dancing to the sounds of Modern Day Romeos, one of Chicago’s most entertaining cover bands.
Thanks to the guests that attended and the evening’s generous sponsors, including Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, the event raised $65,000. All proceeds from the Benefit will be directed to several programs within the Department of Pediatrics at NorthShore and the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU) at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, including Mother’s Milk Research, Cerebral Palsy Research, Neonatal Social Work Research and the Associate Board Emergency Family Fund.

Established by The Associate Board, the Fund provides vital assistance to families of children in the ISCU who are struggling to actively parent their hospitalized infants due to severe economic difficulties. To date, The Associate Board has raised more than $500,000 to support these worthy initiatives at NorthShore.
