The founder of Quaker Oats left a lasting imprint on with a Newport-style house close to Lake Michigan.

Built in 1898 for Henry Coleman Crowell, son of Henry Parsons Crowell, the seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom house boasts an outdoor pool, exercise room and wine cellar.

Together, the two men were heavily involved in the Moody Bible Institute, according to Julie Mangan of @Properties. The house is currently for sale with a listing price of $2.85 million.
