Chelsea Clinton Visits North Shore On Book Tour
Winnetka, Glencoe among stops on tour to promote former First Daughter's latest children's book.

GLENCOE, IL — Chelsea Clinton spoke to students at Glencoe's Central School Thursday as part of the book tour for her newly published kids empowerment bestseller, "It's Your World." Aimed at middle school students, the book encourages young people to become globally aware citizens who make a positive difference in the world. She spoke to an audience of several hundred students, of which more than two dozen had formed a group to read her new book.
The former First Daughter encouraged kids to get actively involved in their local communities. Clinton said people, like her, who have been blessed "have a responsibility to expand our blessings to others." She made no mention of her mother's defeat in last year's presidential election or the Trump administration, according to a report from the Pioneer Press.
Clinton thanked the book club that read her book (full title: "It's Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going!") and posed questions during her appearance at Central:

I wrote a letter to @ChelseaClinton when I was 9 years old. Today I got to meet her. She was luminous & my kids adored her. #ItsYourWorld pic.twitter.com/7w1ZLYavfH
