Comedic Magician Bringing Las Vegas Show To North Shore Synagogue

Combining "mesmerizing illusions with humor and wit," Ben Seidman performs June 11 at North Shore Congregation Israel in Glencoe.

GLENCOE, IL — North Shore Congregation Israel announced Monday will host actor, comedian and sleight-of-hand performer Ben Seidman for a show of original magic effects and illusions this weekend. Milwaukee-born Seidman spent three seasons as the creative consultant for Mindfreak on A&E designing illusions performed by Criss Angel before becoming Resident Magician at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

Seidman's performance at North Shore Congregation Israel has been scheduled for Sunday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m. The performance is open to the public and appropriate for children ages 13 and up, according to event co-chair Carol Wolfe.

“We were looking for something a little different for our annual benefit and the moment we saw Ben perform, we knew he would be perfect,” Wolfe said. “He combines mesmerizing illusions with humor and wit. It’s going to be a very fun and entertaining evening.”
