Cops in Northfield Investigate Overnight Vehicle Thefts
Two cars stolen, two others broken in to overnight in same neighborhood near Edens Expressway.

Two vehicle thefts and a pair of reports of criminal trespass to motor vehicles occurred in the same Northfield neighborhood overnight August 21-22.
The incidents took place just west of the Edens Expressway and one block south of New Willow Road in Northfield, according to the Winnetka Talk.

A Red 2014 Porsche Cayenne GTS was stolen from the 2100 block of Drury Lane between 2:20 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on August 22 and a 2014 black Acura MDX stolen from the 300 block of Jeffrey Street between 10:45 p.m. on August 21 and 8:35 a.m. on August 22.
The two reports of criminal trespass to a motor vehicle occurred at the same house in the 200 block of Dickens Street.

All four vehicles were left unlocked in the owners’ driveways. The keys were left inside the two stolen vehicles.
