District 35 May Add More Teachers
Enrollment numbers basis for possibility of 3.5 new positions in Glencoe district.
Glencoe School District 35 could add as many as 3.5 new teaching positions beginning with the 2015-16 school year.
If enrollment justifies the need for additional staff, the district has paved the way for it, the Glencoe News reports.
The positions would be added in first and fifth grades, special education and in kindergarten - where a current employee on a half-day basis would work the whole day.
