Einstein Bros. Bagels Leaving Glencoe

Einstein Bros. Bagels will be closing their Glencoe location on Tuesday after nearly 20 years in the community.

It was “an operation decision,” according to Arturo Arisda, the manager on duty Thursday. The chain will keep many of its locations in the Chicagoland area, including ones on the North Shore in Glenview, Lincolnshire and Lake Forest.

Arisda and other employees, six total at the Glencoe location at 682 Vernon Ave., will be transferred to other locations.
