"The Elephant in the Room" with Preston Jackson & Gallery Artists
Throughout centuries elephants have awed and inspired us. See how they continue to do so thru a rich selection of visual art at ZIA Gallery.
ZIA Gallery opens 2018 with an exhibition referencing the elephant in contemporary art.
We are pleased to include invited artist Preston Jackson, most noted for his work as a sculptor. However, he is also a painter, as you will see in his passionate depictions of elephants.
Varied word-imagery, abstractions, photography, collage, mixed media painting and pastel; thought-provoking, subtle, lyrical, whimsical and sophisticated: all can be found in the “elephant” works presented by selected artists. The gallery is open Tuesday - Saturday, 10 - 5pm and by appointment.
