Enrollment Drop Could Lead District 35 to Eliminate Teaching Position
The change would affect kindergarten classes in the Glencoe school district.

GLENCOE, IL - A decrease in the number of kindergarten students expected in Glencoe School District 35 next year could mean one less class, and as a result one less teaching position.
The district is considering the staff adjustment of dropping the number of kindergarten classes in the district from six to five, according to a report from the Glencoe News. The move would come as a result of the drop in kindergarten students in the district from 133 this year to 100 next year.
A final determination on the change has not been made.
