Writing well is a fundamental building block to good communications throughout our lives. So many of our written communications are extensions of the classic essay structure we learned in school.
Essays Made Easy—for students in 6th through 9th grade—will help young writers improve their command of the essay structure. This class will help each student develop a roadmap to understand the placement of thesis, supporting arguments, transitions, and conclusions.
Students will be encouraged to write about topics for which they have a strong passion. Over the course of these six sessions, students will be asked to write and revise two to three complete essays.
