ZIA Gallery To Feature Art on 1970s Chicago
Art Photography exhibition opening ZIA Gallery Winnetka of Tim Liddy and Bob Rehak, June 13, 5 - 7pm. All welcome. Meet artist. Thru July 25

ZIA Gallery invites the public to the opening reception of an exhibition featuring new works by painter-sculptor (and master of illusion) Tim Liddy and original photographs by street photographer Bob Rehak.
Tim Liddy has an exceptional record of achievement. He exhibits across the States at various galleries, museums and art fairs including Art Miami, Dallas Art Fair, Aqua-Art Miami among others. Sought-after in New York by noted collectors such as Beth DeWoody, Tim Liddy’s unusual trompe l’oeil artworks have been acquired for other significant private and public collections including the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Last year, the Hunt family, owners of the Kansas City Chiefs, commissioned a number of new works for Arrowhead Stadium. Tim Liddy’s accomplishments are receiving ever-growing recognition. Art enthusiasts in the Chicago area will have an opportunity to meet the artist, as Tim Liddy will be in attendance at the opening reception on Saturday, June 13th 5-7pm at ZIA Gallery.
Bob Rehak’s renewed impact in Chicago came with a photo-blog he began in August of 2013. He posted photographs he had taken in the mid-1970s of people living in Chicago’s Uptown. Within months the blog reached more than 8 million viewers. Fascination with the blog led to his first photography book Uptown: Portrait of a Chicago Neighborhood in the Mid-1070s. Now his original photographs will be on exhibit at ZIA Gallery. Rehak approached his subjects with sensitivity and respect aiming for depth, accuracy, and essence. The response to his book and blog demonstrate his works’ appeal. Rehak is the owner and creative director of Rehak Creative Services. His achievements include Best of Show Awards at the Clios, Cannes Film Festival, International Broadcasting Awards, New York Art Director’s Club and the Addys.
