IDENTITY THEFT

On July 25, a resident in the 1100 block of Scott Avenue reported that someone used the resident's personal information to open up credit cards with Kohl's and Chase at 1 p.m. on July 14 and made $700 in unauthorized purchases.

THEFT

A patron near the Hubbard Woods Metra station discovered that someone had stolen a bicycle that had been locked to a bike rack in the 1000 block of Scott Avenue sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on July 25.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

On July 26, a business owner in the 900 block of Green Bay Road reported that someone damaged two windows and the door of the business between 12:00 a.m. on July 22 and 10 a.m. on July 25. The repair costs were reported to be $500.

THEFT

A patron near the Elm Street Metra station discovered that someone had stolen an unlocked bicycle worth $300 from a bike rack in the 700 block of Elm Street between 6:30 a.m. and 7:10 p.m. on July 26.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Around 10 a.m. on July 27, someone confronted a person and made derogatory comments as they were supervising children at Village Green Park in the 500 block of Maple Street. The reportedly rude and confrontational individual then left the area.

THEFT

On July 28, police were told someone stole multiple envelopes containing $400 in cash from a desk in a residence in the 1100 block of Ash Street between 7:15 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. on July 26.

ARRESTS

DOMESTIC BATTERY

Alex MacDonald, 55, of the 700 block of Cherry Street, was arrested July 26 at 7:40 p.m. at his last known address and charged with domestic battery. The arrest was made after an investigation into a 9-1-1 call reporting a physical altercation in progress.

AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF A WEAPON

Trenisha S. Milam, 26, of the 200 block of South Oak Creek Lane in Romeoville, was arrested at 1:08 a.m. on July 29 near the intersection of Willow Road and Lagoon Drive after being pulled over for a stop sign violation. She was charged with felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon (handgun) and also cited for possession of cannabis and disobeying a stop sign.
