Former Winnetka Library President Dies

Richard F. Smock, 89, of Northfield. Beloved husband of Muriel Smock, nee Herson; loving father of Justin (Laura Devlin) Smock and Pamela Smock; proud grandfather of Katherine and Tyler; dear brother-in-law of Donna Sosin; uncle of Jennifer and Amy Sosin. A marketing executive, Mr. Smock served as the President of the Winnetka Public Library and on the Northfield Architectural Commission.
Visitation Monday, August 17, 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 12:30 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Services, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Road, Skokie, IL 60077. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Light Opera Works, 516 4th St., Wilmette, IL 60091.
