Winnetka

THEFT

  • Identity - June 5 at 11:38 a.m.
    • A resident discovered that somebody had redeemed about $3,700 worth of airline miles from their account.

  • Traffic - June 2 at 12:44 a.m.
    • A 45-year-old man from Maywood was arrested for driving without a valid driver's license.
  • Traffic - June 3 at 9:54 a.m.
    • A 39-year-old Chicago man was arrested for driving without a valid driver's license. He was also cited for driving a vehicle with expired registration.
  • Traffic - June 5 at 8:46 a.m.
    • A 38-year-old Chicago man was arrested for driving with a suspended license. He was also cited for driving an uninsured vehicle and driving a vehicle with an obstructed windshield or driver's window.
  • Traffic - June 6 at 3:04 p.m.
    • A 24-year-old Niles man was arrested for speeding 26-30 mph over the limit.

FRAUD

  • Purchase - June 9
    • Olsky Jewelers reported that a gold chain and necklace worth $2,500 were purchased using a fraudulent credit card. Detectives with the Glencoe Public Safety Department are continuing to investigate this incident.
