French Restaurant Owner Opens French Restaurant Next to His French Restaurant
Because Winnetka likes French restaurants.
WINNETKA, IL - Chef Michael Lachowicz heard Winnetkans like French restaurants.
So he opened a French restaurant next to his French restaurant.
The concept perfect for a “Yo Dawg” meme is a prime part of the dining scene in Winnetka, which stacks up against any that of any Chicago suburb.

Lachowicz recently opened George Trois, a formal French dining restaurant, in an addition to the popular Restaurant Michael at 64 Green Bay Road. Lachowicz is the owner and chef of both restaurants that will operate separately adjacent to each other.
"I'm flexing my culinary muscle," Lachowicz said in a Chicago Tribune interview. "I get to express my passion every night at both restaurants. Not everyone gets to do that."
