Marielle Mentzer Babnik, age 46 of Glencoe, IL. Beloved wife of John Babnik; adoring mother of Madeline, John III and Lily Babnik; loving daughter of Nancy Mentzer and Dick (Sharon) Mentzer; dear daughter in law of John and Carol Babnik; cherished sister of Shelly Mentzer (Dru) Deiner; sister in law of Scott (Christine) Babnik and Stacey (Chris) Clark.

Marielle was a graduate of East High School, Denver, CO, Dickinson College, Carlisle, PA and received her MBA from DePaul University, Chicago, IL.

Marielle was highly involved with Junior League of Evanston North Shore, all Glencoe Schools PTO’s and a dedicated hockey mom.

Visitation Wednesday January 14, 2015, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL 60077. Funeral Mass Thursday January 15, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 1077 Tower Road, Winnetka, IL 60093. Interment private All Saints Cemetery.
