Have A Say In The New Trier School Board
10 delegates for the New Trier High School Caucus are needed from Winnetka.

WINNETKA, IL — District 36 who want a say in who serves on the New Trier school board have an opportunity to get involved, as the Winnetka Caucus Council announced it is looking to fill 10 positions on the New Trier High School Caucus. The caucus, which will reconvene in the fall, is tasked with selecting which candidates to endorse for the April 2019 general election.
Each of New Trier's feeder districts contribute members to the advisory group, and District 36's 10 delegates will be selected by the Winnetka Caucus Council, which describes itself as a non-partisan volunteer group that selects candidates for board positions with local public bodies. It also conducts annual surveys and town halls.
Those interested in serving or with suggestions for who should serve as a delegate were asked to email Jack Snyder (jack.snyder@gmail.com) and/or Jane Dowding (janedowding@yahoo.com), who will provide a short form and answers to any questions.
