How To HELP 15 nonprofits this Saturday Oct 27th

The Volunteer Center hosts its 16 annual Make A Difference Day

It’s time again to Make A Difference! Each Fall, North Shore residents and businesses are invited to donate and recycle their gently used items for The Volunteer Center's Make A Difference Day, a national Day of Service throughout the country. This year’s event is this Saturday, October 27. Drop your goods off any time between 9am and noon at The Indian Hill Train Station Parking Lot in Winnetka. Items are requested by 15 valuable nonprofits who will be present to accept the items. The list of items and nonprofits participating as well as additional information can be found on the Volunteer Center's website, www.VolunteerCenterHelps.org. Just about anything you don't need or have outgrown in your closets, your basements or your garage - if they're in good condition will be accepted by the nonprofits. From the homeless, youth, visually impaired, sports enthusiasts to orphaned animals will benefit. Recycle your EXCESS and help those with very little. More info: info@volunteercenterhelps.org
