Hubbard Woods School Celebrates 100 Years

Hubbard Woods Elementary School is celebrating a century of education in northern Winnetka.

The Winnetka Talk highlights the 100-year history of the school once known as Skokie School, noting an increase in enrollment over the years creating the need for several additions.

Last week, after gathering all students in the auditorium, staff and parent volunteers released 100 blue and white balloons into the crowd to mark the start of the year-long celebration.
