WINNETKA, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Winnetka Police Department and the Glencoe Public Safety Department.
Winnetka
THEFT
- Equipment - May 4 at 10:32 a.m.
- A victim reported that equipment had been taken from a construction site sometime between May 2 and 4. The value of the equipment was estimated to be $545.
- Flowers - May 4 at 10:49 a.m.
- A resident reported that sometime between May 3 and 4, somebody had stolen two whole hydrangea bushes from their front yard. The value of the bushes is estimated to be $80.
- Retail - May 6 at 2:36 p.m.
- A staff member at a store reported that somebody had swiped a box of cigarettes. The amount of loss was $18.08.
- Equipment - May 9 at 11:34 a.m.
- A victim reported that equipment had been taken from a construction site sometime between May 8 and 9. The value of the equipment was estimated to be $4,000.

- Property - May 6
- A 22-year-old Round Lake Beach man was arrested following an investigation. He was cited with criminal damage to government property and resisting a police officer.
ARRESTS
- Traffic - May 12
- A 23-year-old Round Lake Beach man was arrested and cited with improper lane usage, no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to properly secure a child under age 8, failure to yield to a stationary emergency vehicle and possession of cannabis in a motor vehicle outside an approved container.
