Kirk Spent Small Business Saturday in Winnetka
The U.S. Senator made stops at local stores to support what he calls the "lifeblood" of the Illinois economy.

WINNETKA, IL - Illinois U.S. Senator Mark Kirk spent Small Business Saturday supporting local businesses in Winnetka.
Kirk made stops at The Book Stall, Lakeside Foods and the Village Toy Shop among others on Nov. 28.
The first-term U.S. Senator who previously represented Illinois’ 10th District in the U.S. House of Representatives called small businesses the “lifeblood of the Illinois economy,” according to the Winnetka Current.
“During the holiday season, and throughout the year, we must remember the importance of shopping local and supporting neighborhood business owners,” he said.
