Meet NYT Bestselling Author Andra Watkins and Other Authors
At First Annual Lake County AUTHORFEST

Andra Watkins, New York Times Bestselling Author of Not Without My Father: One Woman’s 444-Mile Walk of the Natchez Trace, and To Live Forever: An Afterlife Journey of Meriwether Lewis, will be one of the featured authors at the first annual AUTHORFEST in Round Lake Beach, Ill.

Authorfest will have a full day of events from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 30 at the Cultural and Civic Center, 2007 Civic Center Way (located at the corner of Rte. 83 and Rollins Rd.), Round Lake Beach, IL, 847-201-9032.

Co-sponsored by This Old Book in Grayslake, the event offers families and readers a place to have fun outdoors with games, children’s book readings, author presentations and live music.

Along with books presented by more than 20 authors representing various genres from children’s books and YA books, to science fiction, mystery, and more, there will be a craft table and fun activities for the kids. Live music will be presented by Edison Blake and Deezguize!
