Last Call For Village Trustee Candidates: Winnetka Caucus
The deadline is October 2 to declare your interested to represent the village during the 2018-2020 term.

WINNETKA, IL – The deadline has been extended to register your interest in serving as a Village Trustee for the 2018 to 2020 term with the Winnetka Caucus Council. The volunteer position requires a part time to full time commitment, according to the Caucus. candidates should be knowledgeable about public policy issues facing the village able to discuss how they would approach the making policy and solving problems as a representative of the community. If you are interested in recommending yourself or someone else to the Council, you have until Oct. 2 to complete and submit the 2017 Village Trustee Interest Form.
After filling out an interest form, candidates may receive a call from a member of the Caucus' Candidates Committee to discuss the potential applicant's interest. That will be followed by an application with written responses and then a series of in-person interviews, which are set to begin shortly, according to Village Candidates Committee Chair Jack Snyder.
